Crafted with care and attention to detail, our Christmas cards are not just a festive greeting but also a perfect gift for nature lovers. After admiring the card, it can be planted and will grow into beautiful wildflowers.
Product details:
- Made to order.
- A6 size - folds from A5 to A6 (105x148mm).
- Premium 280gsm thick plantable seed paper, embedded with 20 different UK Native Wildflower seeds to support pollinators.
- Blank inside.
- Planting instructions are included on the back of the card.
- Ideal to grow in a sunny spot outside or inside.
- Recycled C6 brown ribbed kraft envelope included.
- It comes in a biodegradable plastic-free bag made from vegetable starch.
- Dispatch time 1-3 working days.
- Posted in a hardboard “do not bend” envelope to protect them during delivery.
Here at Nature's Wishes, we take extra care to make sure that our cards are not only sustainable but also beautiful and unique. They are designed to make your loved ones feel special and appreciated while also helping to protect the planet. As a small eco-friendly business we aim to partner with local suppliers who share the same values as us.
Our Premium seed paper is air dried to maximise growth success rate and it is highly populated with a variety of British native wildflower and grass seeds, all part of the approved RHS list of Plants for Pollinators. It is handmade exclusively for us by second generation artisans papermaker in the oldest paper mill in the UK. We are proud to work with them and support a piece of history as well as helping to preserve the heritage and skills of papermaking in the UK.
We have also a no-plastic policy in place so all our cards come in fully biodegradable version of cello bags, made from vegetable starch. They are manufactured here in UK with a substance called PLA (polylactic acid) which is produced by using fermented plant starch, and the great news is that the production of PLA uses 65% less energy than producing conventional plastics and generates 68% fewer greenhouse gases and contains no toxins.
We use Royal Mail for shipping with its lowest reported carbon emissions per parcel of any major UK delivery company.
